Quick Pamper Hour – Treat Yo Self

Hey huns

On the rare occasion A is home from work in the evening and takes Pip off my hands for an hour then this is the time when I like to pamper myself, take time to turn myself from gross crummy mummy to glitzy glam gal (OK I wish). Even if you don’t have a baby here a a few things you can do in your quick pamper hour to get yourself feeling super fresh!

I’m not a big fan of baths, I much prefer a shower and when I do have a bath it’s because someone has nicely treated me to a Lush bath bomb. So if I have chance I will take a nice long shower, wash the bod and take the time to shave the legs (such a grueling task blah) and listen to some music. At the moment I keep re-buying Garnier… It’s silicone free which is perfect for hair that is died to help keep it’s colour and as I have ombre hair this is great. Especially in my #pamperhour I give my hair a deep condition and use the John Frieder…

Fake Tan

During my power hour I will fake tan using Rimmel London Sunshimmer Self Tan Mousse Light. It’s by far my favourite fake tan and if you are looking for a fan tan that is quick and amazing then is for you. It takes about 10 minutes to apply to my whole body and dried is 2-5 minutes. I love how this gives me a boost of confidence too… I feel a review post coming your way!

Paint Your Nails

This feels like a genuine treat these days so when I do get the chance I’ve recently started using nail varnish that I know dries quickly and won’t smudge. I have recently bought Barry M quick dry nail varnish.

Quick Face Mask

I don’t usually do this step as I feel it can take away my fake tan on my face but if I do I use the… It stays on for 10 minutes and I will usually have it on whilst I either do my nails, have a cup of tea or watch a TV programme.

Nose Strip

I love having a nose strip on and taking it off to see disgusting black bits as I know it’s worked then! Again I only do this when I’ve not fake tanned.

Evening skincare routine

I will do a leisurely evening skincare routine rather than a quick cleanse and moisturise before bed! I will take time with each step and truly pamper myself. At the moment I’m using Pixi Glow Tonic Cleanser, Botanicals Facial Serum, Simple Skincare Nighttime Moisturiser and Botanicals Undereye Roll on.

Finish it off with a lovely cup of tea (gin).

Then sit back and finish it off with a lovely cup of tea.
