If I’ve not said it before, I’ll say it again… THIS YEAR IS GOING SO FAST!!! I’m pretty sure everyone says that, but it’s just true.
It’s time for another monthly favourites and it features some whoppers… bet your falling off your chair with excitement. Of course as usual I have my fave TV shows, make-up, food and of course my favourite blogger and youtuber.
Fear of the walking dead
If you are a fan of The Walking Dead then you will love love love this. It’s a series about when the infection first started and everyone understanding the new zombie world around them. It’s a completely different cast to the Walking Dead (so no annoying Karl) and just great if you like Zombies. Downside is it’s only available on Amazon Prime.
13 Reasons Why – Series 2
We are nearly finished with this and the one thing we kept asking ourselves through the series is… what happened last series? Normally I can remember last TV series pretty well but we just could not figure out what happened with certain players last time. However we still are addicted to it and we really think it’s great how they are tackling mental health in young people.
Soap & Glory Kick it into Neutral Palette
If like me you love a palette then this is not to missed. All the shades are beautiful summery neutral tones and at the moment it’s my everyday go-to palette. It’s reasonably priced and I’m really enjoying the shades.
Butterkist Toffee Popcorn – Individual packets
I’m on slimming world and we slimmers, we for our syns. These are 5.5 syns a pack, but they taste like real food. Also great if you want to have a pack in your purse for if you feel peckish. I love most types of Popcorn, but this feels just that little bit tastier at the moment.
Tesco – Be Awesome mug
I finally have a new mug… As you can see in the feature image! It has been all of 2 months since my last mug purchase. This is fine china (oooh ehhh) and is such a good size. It’s like a bucket of tea and has a cute line on the inside of the mug that says “everyday”
Mothercare – Toy for car seat (cannot find it on their website!!)
The toy wraps around like a snake around the handle on the car seat. This was a definite great investment as Pip loves staring at it and reaching for it. We got it in black and white, but they had different colours and it has a hanging down mirror, a squeaky toy and a little rabbit.. It just goes on the car seat or pram and saves carrying extra toys.
Facebook – Buy and Sell groups
If you haven’t already go check out a recent blog post where I did a Pinterest challenge in Collab with Hello Bexa. On that blog post I talked a lot about buy and sell groups on facebook as they are a great way of getting bargains. As a parent we have found that there is no point buying new things most of the time as she will not need them soon enough. If you head over to my Instagram you can see some of the great things I have bought.
Blog: Slummy Single Mummy
Slummy Single Mummy is a blog written by the lovely Jo, from Taunton who writes a whole range of blog posts on Parenting to different lifestyle posts. She is really down to Earth and is blog is just great if you’re a parent.
Since I’ve been pregnant and having baby Pip, I’ve become a lot more obsessed with organisations and cleaning. It makes me extremely happy to organise things and when my house is clean… you thought I couldn’t get any more lame! Well if like me you love watching people clean their house (yeah it’s a thing) and organise their life into infinity +1 then she is your girl!
So we have come to the end of the monthly favourites. What did you think… have you watched Fear of the Walking Dead/13 Reasons why? – let me know your thoughts on the series.
I have decided that monthly favourites have become a bit of a boring task for me and I’m not enjoying writing them monthly. My blog is my fun space and I want it to stay that way so this is my last monthly favourites blog post… sometimes I may share things I’m loving over on Instagram or Twitter SO GO FOLLOW ME OR YOU WILL MISS OUT!
Hope you enjoyed!!
