Time off – I’ve only gone and had a baby!

Hey guys,

So for the past week I’ve not touched my laptop, replied to any comments, made sure my blog posts were posted or created any new content.

You know why?!?!

I’m going to do a youtube video/blog post about the labour experience, but I can honestly say it was the most beautiful, amazing and life changing event to have happened to me. I mean I cry every time I think about labour, in a good way because it honestly has changed my life for the better.

So I’ve had a beautiful baby girl called Pippa and she is my world. People say that children change your life and you cannot think about what life was like before they entered your world. Well I can think about it and I remembered my life revolved around ME but now my live revolves around this little girl who needs me. It’s the best and the most scary feeling.

The ups so far have definitely been holding her in my arms for the first time and every day, giving her kisses, dressing her and bringing her home for the first time.

The downs so far have been crying at every little thing (no you cried at there been no more digestive biscuits!), getting stuck at the top of Primark because they are not baby friendly, the tiredness and not feeling 100%.

So in short, I just wanted to say I’m slowly feeling my glorious self again with a mini me in tow. My time spent at the laptop and making content will still be limited and although increasing as I learn to balance a newborn and a cup of tea at the same time, I will be a bit AWOL from here for a few weeks.

I know you will be understanding and thanks for reading!!!!

check out some of my older blog posts if you miss me

Thanks Kay xx

I'm Kate, a 25 year old going on 40 Northerner and a new mum to baby Pip. I also love taking pictures of my food, singing along to musicals and my dog Ruben. I'm venturing into the unknown world of blogging, so please be kind.
